Happy Thanks Giving, 2011:

 Thanksgiving Turkey

Today millions of American will join their loved ones and family members to celebrate Thanksgiving Holiday. Many will travel by air, roads-highways and byways, railway and some by water ways. Thanksgiving is the breakthrough kick-off of the holiday season that consists of three major holidays in America; Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Business owners loves holiday seasons because it involves traveling, gathering and connecting lost links among friends and family members normally it has been a good custom to buy gifts, go for dinner, or congregate somewhere and celebrate these holidays. In this regard, the Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the official day of shopping for the holiday season. You know what means? Shopping deals, unveiling new products and services and people shop until when they drop; that means spending and earning revenues.

On the other hand, Thanks giving gives people a chance to recalibrate, retreat and rethink about family values and this is done by long distance traveling visiting family members and friends. In this process huge dinners are prepared and certainly the National Thanksgiving Birds are eaten and well consumed for better-good of family health. This is the time to indulge ourselves with all kinds of delicious dinners and get a reason to eat as much as we want and no one question us, I love it.

This year we are at Uncle Mbuzi down south, Tennessee so to speak. We are getting treated with the southern hospitality, if you know what I mean. Weather. Where can I start? Weather is marvelous, compare to the crappy weather when we left NY. But don’t get it twisted this is temporary and the love for NY is still there baby. Life is balancing, so get around and experience new things and challenges that surrounding life brings about. Here at down south, all things considered and we are loving it. We are now heading to his crib and start to munch-on the bird, obviously, and all sorts of goodies him and my beloved cousins prepared. The long weekend of Thanks Giving and the breaks it gives us as an opportunity to visit one another it is sentimental, let alone the foods.
 The Thanksgiving Dish. mmm!!!!!! Yuuuuummmyyyyyyyy

Kids are really anxious seen Uncle Mbuzi and other family members and friends. It is quite an experience because they don’t often see them, and I want this family gathering to be sentimental to all of us as we are connecting to family members that we often don’t get to see each other. I’m sure that kids will take a photographic memory of the joy and hospitality they are getting from their relatives down here. The older one is grasping it good because this is about fourth time seen them, as she does come here once a year. Whereas my son is has been here three times already but because he is 2 and he came when he was young he don’t remember the past, but surely he will remember this one as he likes and talk about what he see already. You know children get attracted to different things quick than we grownups do. God bless them, because change is indeed difficult for us, but I always remember Bible stories when God asked all of us to go to him as children then we will see the eternal life. So it is a learning experience and I’m open to explore it at full extent. Down here it is really spiritual and we like it and that touches our hearts. Happy Thanks Giving to you all.
