Fatherhood Moments

On February  2009 God has blessed us a new baby, Valerian B.K. Masao III A.K.A Rocky.  We call him Rocky for so many reasons and it is blessing. It is joy and we are celebrating with recognition that God is great and almighty. It is good to be father and responsible one too. To all fathers out there please be responsible fathers for the lives you bring in to life, running away is not a way to solve problems, rather brings chaos to the innocent life(lives). Let us embrace our president's statement that to stop being like children, to stop being like boys rather be like real men while handling our business like fathers. We ought to be role models, leaders, supporters, mentors and responsible for our children' lives. That is to be the real man in front of the eyes of the community and under God. That is how it is suppose to be and we will pass this good tradition to our children and children children. Amen.

Tributes to Uncle Duessie Sappi

In the Picture, on the left, is ma-man Late Dussie A. Sappi, of Utica, NY originally from Tanga Tanzania, with resembling now President J.K. Kikwete fella. My man Dussie passed on July 28th 2008 from liver and kidney failure. May his soul rest in the eternal peace.

Today I just wanted to dedicate this day for him. Im gonna miss him a lot, for he was a great guy, I learn a lot from him. It is a great loss for not having him in ma BBQs or in the entrepreneurship, he was a great uncle and friend. He was there for me, my wife and my daughter Malaika since her birth. She loved him too. We gonna miss you uncle Duessie, we are on the same way though. we believe we gonna meet again. Peace's n love. We all remember you.

I know Jenelle, Keilly and Mama Kathy are missing you big time. But what else can we do? because God's plans are always are greater than ours. I always wander where you are and what happened because it happend so fast? But I have this comfort in my heart, the things you have told me all the time, the good ideas you have put in me, the good example you have demonstrated to me, about how to live with people from every corner of the world, the good stories of your life as a journey, from Tanzania, East Africa, to Europe and Americas, it is fascinating and energize me whenever I remember.

A day to remember

Today September 11th 2008, we are once again remembering September 11 2011. This day reminds all of us that the work is still to be done and it needs a courage for all of us as a strong nation under God to stand united and defeat the terrorist and all dictatorship regimes that support terrorist. As President Bush declared the war-on terror soon after September 11th 2001 attacks that there is no distinction between a terrorist and any one who is supporting terrorists; "if you support terrorist, you are a terrorist".  This is true now as it was true then. May God bless those who are still healing from the loss of their love one and those who are healing from the physical, spiritual and emotional wounds from the acts of terrorists. Also may God bless us all and may God Bless America and bring peace and closure to all.

The Fatherhood Life Role

I'm Masao and I'm father since a while ago. Until recently, May 29th 2008, my father who was pillar of our family, passed away at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCM), Moshi, Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, the fatherhood reality set-through really fast. Why? I'm first born to my mother with 5 siblings, and i have other siblings who are step brother and sisters. We did not grow together but they visited and some i met them on my father's funeral. We really dont have that much connections but they are blood and I'm responsible to the some extent. All are looking up to my decision making because in my tradition since I'm the oldest son i wear my father's hat and they all get to come to me. I dont like very much, but hey, I got  to face-up what life throws at me.
