9-11 Commemoration, “United We Stand”

 9/11 Commemoration, "United We Stand

Today, September 11th 2012 we are remembering the day that America was attacked by the terrorists and it took away about 3,000 innocent lives. It has been a good eleven years since the terrorist attack and the wounds are still fresh as the incident is fresh in our memories. There is an old saying my grandmother used to say to her adversaries “I can forgive you, but I will not forget what you have done to me”. Looking at people and listen to all sort of news outlets and individuals here in America, the attitude is similar to the quote above. Understandably, people have forgiveness, but rightly will never forget this event. It is the right thing for us all to remember this day and give thanks to the innocent souls of servicemen and women, travelers and bystanders who were helping to serve lives of other, but instead theirs got taken away. Together, these men and women were good people doing the right thing that ordinary Americans always feels obliged to do throughout the history of this great nation.

Back To school and First Timers

This week, like many parents we had to take our kids school, first timers or new class, or new class mates or new teachers. We then listen to their after-school stories which are fascinating. As we drop them off and watch them learn their ways in the new class and scrambling looking for their old friend it tells us something unique, especially when our “K” daughter looking for her Pre-K friends and heart broken when some were not there. For our son, he was the first timer, in the day care; all he looked for just toys and friends, forging new friends in life. It is so innocent and full of life kind of style. I wish we, adults, were just like that instead of been so calculative and cautious of what would, might, should and could have gone wrong.

DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS: Organizational Management Spring of 201

Mr. Valerian B-K. Masao II

Instructor: Dr. Bruce Johnson American Public University (APUS) July 2012
I work for a not-for-profit organization that was established in the year 1800, as the Benevolent Society of NY Capital District to assist indigent women, children and orphan asylum. Currently, the organization cares for children and adults with developmental disabilities (special developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs) with their families. It is the multi-service organization i.e. providing residential programs, group homes, behavioral juvenile school campus, a day treatment program, clinical services, crisis intervention, respite services, and in-home parent assistance programs. Although, over duration of time the faces of the organization and programs have transformed since its establishment, the needs of the youth, individuals and families remain continuous to feel safe, to receive quality care, to receive comfort and to grow and thrive. Thus, the goals have transformed and diversified due to new community demands and the mission remained the same. The overtime organizational transformation on goals, structure and design is the proof of what Morgan, (1989), illustrated as, “today’s solutions shapes tomorrow’s problems” (35).

The 2012 Democratic National convention

2012 DNC

President Bill Clinton call for “arithmetic” is the political blow to the GOP than anything else during Democratic National Convention of 2012. I remember taking arithmetic in high school and boy it was fun and revealing. This call of us doing arithmetic is resonating than anything else. If I were GOP calling and pledging for more tax cut in this economy I will listen to the humor of President Obama on the GOP prescription on the bad economy.  It is that simple, with this bad economy tax cut is no brainier. The trickle down philosophy of past decade has brought us into our knees. Adding Gov. Romney tax rate, refusal to release tax return, controversial investments and off-shore banking I could be careful talking to majority of Americans who bears the loss of Wall Street and poor policies that brought this crisis.

Gov. Romney Claimed That President Obama Don’t Understand Risk Taking

Gov. Romney Address RN 2012

In the 2012 Republican National Convention Gov. Romney claimed that President Obama doesn’t understand free markets and that growth needs risk takers. He furthered that entrepreneurs need to take risks in business and investments and that is nature of private sector. Also he said that some risks work out well and some don’t turn out the way we projected them to be; and that is the beauty of free markets.

Republican National Convention: Gov. Jeb Bush Call For Schools Reform

 RNC 2012 Republican National Convention

At 2012 Republican National Convention, I listened to Gov. Jeb Bush calling for schools reform while many GOP stake-holders rambling on shallow and contradictory policies toward foreign policy, taxes, economy and social issues. In this instance of School reform that calls for more choices and flexibility I couldn't agree more with Gov. Jeb Bush’s call. The most important of all is his push for choices to parents and children that are so needed. As parent, to be locked in the zip codes, just a block away to my children’s success is very disturbing. Something that led me to take them miles attending private school. When come to schools we are limited by politicians and bureaucrats, it shouldn't be that way. It is frustrating and lowering our education standards.

A Year After Hurricane Irene Devastation

Today Upstate New York and much of the North-East are observing a year after the devastation that was caused by the Hurricane Irene. I remember I was coming from Utica, Central New York, and the storm had started about 1 AM. My family and I were driving, it was pouring so bad I could barely see what was in front of me.

Congressman Paul Ryan You Are Not Responsible Leader As You Claim To Be

Congressman Ryan, you aint responsible leader as you claim to be; it is a far stretch and political chase. Passing just budget that has partisan ideology without regards to all Americans is not being responsible leader as you are going around the country pondering you and Governor Romney are great leaders. Great leaders get things done and doing so responsibly. Not all Americans do have amnesia, remember that. You as great leader you claim to be, voted for all the wars that were not paid for and voted for increased spending when President Bush was in the office. But when Obama became president you became the leader of the part of “NO” to everything supporting President Obama to win in the economy. The win in the economy is winning to America. Your number one job was and is to make sure President Obama is not win reelection. In the process you and your party held American progress in hostage. You want your century back because Obama is in the office. We hear that we know that and you as GOP leader said and did just that. You want your country back from whom? I wonder, from president Obama? How about Congress as whole passing bills that can become law instead of wasting tax payers’ money by passing bills that are rooted to bridge to nowhere? That is fraud to pass something that you know and you engineered the environment for it to be defeated and not to become law.

My Father’s Legacy

If you are the father to children or have your father alive today, right this moment, tell and show them that you love them. Life is too short to bicker around and lose the life time opportunity to become the greatest child to your "parents" or the greatest parents to your "children". Tell them how precisely you feel about them. Even if you are angry at them, disagreeing with them, have hatred toward them or you are dishonest toward them. At least they know and you know the raw truth and that is to make peace with them. Explicitly become clean to yourself and to them.

Overt Discrimination in Ohio

Published: August 14, 2012
If you live in Butler or Warren counties in the Republican-leaning suburbs of Cincinnati, you can vote for president beginning in October by going to a polling place in the evening or on weekends. Republican officials in those counties want to make it convenient for their residents to vote early and avoid long lines on Election Day.
But, if you live in Cincinnati, you’re out of luck. Republicans on the county election board are planning to end early voting in the city promptly at 5 p.m., and ban it completely on weekends, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. The convenience, in other words, will not be extended to the city’s working people.

The Independent Lens On 2012 General Elections: Are Governor Romney's Tax Rate & Tax Returns An Insult To American People?

On the Tax Rates: Governor Mitt Romney produced only one year of Tax return. We know he paid taxes at required tax level as per Bush-Tax-Cuts Act/Law. What is puzzling is the rate Mr. Romney and his fellows pays in taxes and vow to strive to serve them more tax-cuts as soon as he wins the election. They will throw everything on the kitchen sink because they really don’t want to go back to President Clinton-era of prosperity for all by paying taxes equally by percentage as per income. I understand that this world is fair by all means, but with the current economy and unbalanced systemic advantages to rich getting richer and poor are getting poorer; it exceptionally not fair to favor the rich to pay low percentage over the poor or middle class who are paying higher percentage. The loop-holes Governor Romney and his fellows uses, Capital Gain Tax-Rates, are as bad as not paying taxes. How could anyone think of creating jobs by cutting PELL grants, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and Cut Taxes to the millionaires at the same time? With my glimpse of economics I don’t get it.

Gun Control? How About Self Control?

This issue is the mankind self-destruction by the self-fulfilling prophesy. I happened to believe different than most people, may be. It is interesting when we see shooting everyone gets out and blame the gun but not the person behind the gun and pulled the trigger. These gun shooting stories that are intending to tell us all that guns are killing people. They are as strange as the people who commit these killings either by guns or by whatever they find it necessary to execute their killing plans. Here is my taking on this, many of analysis and logical independent thinkers will support this. Why is the gun not in the courts and or in the jails with the people who are sentenced of murder or massacre? It is logic to me that it obvious, to all the gun control peoples, that the guns have shown and proven to have the complete control of the situation and fired themselves and premeditated the murders miraculously. The irony of the obsessed gun control people is that the person behind the gun was just holding it and had nothing to do with it, its action or consequences. But my logic is that a person behind the gun has premeditated or intended to go pick up the gun, aim at the target and pull the trigger that killed person/peoples.

Rep: Paul Ryan Is The Governor Romney’s VP Choice: The Austerity Cuts Politics

Today, the Massachusetts’s Governor Mitt Romney and the GOP Presidential nominee has selected Congressman Pau Ryan of Wisconsin and Chairman of Congressional Budgeting Committee to be his Vice President and running mate in the November 6th 2012 general elections. Paul Ryan has been the shining star of the Tea-Party and conservative movement, which has mixed of many things but not the politics of growth spending and tax increase for even a cent. Movements are not monogamy, but are often driven by common cause with ideology; one can characterize Tea-Party as such. Congratulations Congressman Paul Ryan.

My Independent Mind On 2012 General Election Issues

Taxation: If you don’t want to pay tax or you think American government is too big for you why not leave for Somalia where there is no tax or government on your back? I have not seen these so called business people who hate Obama moving their business to Somalia yet. Also the businesses in Romney's counter ad on this issue, the one in New Hampshire received about $88,000 of stimulus money. Did any individual person received any single cash sent? We have been in this road of tax cut on the rich for long. The positions on policies indicate that bankers and outsources are for super profit and Romney is their pick candidate; they will spend their billions in this election and many to come, but they won’t be able to buy our votes as individuals.

Life Is A Dream

Happy Sunday Every One.

As believer and follower of Christ, life is indeed a dream. It depends on how one wants life to be. One can make life fantastic or miserable. It depends on what one is aspiring to be and do. In life, as dream, some are just dreams, some are dreams and worked upon, fruitful dreams. We call that a dream that became true and those dont materialize we call them just "day dreams". Life and or a dream are metaphors. Smart people untangle them and analyze them well. Their path in life are well defined and understood by many. They can be be our hero, legends, iconic, and role models. They were given same talents as us. They just got theirs right analyzing the metaphors.

Obama Is A S.O.G.

All I know is Romney is schizophrenic because he stands for nothing, mandate that he introduced in Massachusetts, now he is running away from it, the Bain capital now he is running away from it too, foreign policy of not stressing on Killing OBL and Al-Qaida now he is running away from it, and the Afgan Surge that too he is running away from it.
